Mark Cardoza died in Scotts Valley on Dec. 25, 1993 following an auto accident.  Mark was an expert craftsman in the areas of concrete contractor, electrician and carpenter.  The highlight of his career took place when he served as a crew superintendent on many construction projects in Saudi Arabia for two years.

Mark aided many of his neighbors after the Loma Prieta earthquake when he helped retore heat and electricity to their homes.  He was a member of the Santa Cruz Elks Lodge No. 824.

Mark is survived by his sons, Joseph and Ceyne; daughter Shelia; his father and stepmother, Joel and Mary; and his mother Lavon.  His brother, James Cardoza died four months earlier.
